Some of my weddings. . .

Meet Sharon and Brian

They opted for a candy bar after dinner that served as a “make your own favor” for their guests.  Sharon and Brian’s favorite candies are anything peanut butter and gummy candy.  They chose miniature sizes of Snickers, Reeses peanut butter cups, sour patch kids, Swedish fish, M & Ms, Reeses pieces, and Twix bars.  Apothecary jars glistened in the candle light.  We made it special with personal touches, such as a frosted bag with their names and a welcome sign that greeted everyone as they approached the table.

It’s our way of saying
Thank you
For sharing in this memorable day!

Guests could fill bags and bring them home for later or enjoy a late night sweet in their hotel room upstairs.

Introducing Jenna and Eddie

This fun couple opted for a dessert table to compliment the coffee bar and wedding cake.  Our goal was to do an understated, elegant dessert station that fit their urban venue.  Jenna and Eddie chose apple cake, brownies, chocolate chip cookie dough truffles, short bread cookies, chocolate dipped Oreos, and brownies layered with cream cheese frosting & strawberries.  In addition, fancy fruit trays were served with chocolate dipped strawberries, raspberry coins, blackberry coins, chocolate dipped pineapple, chocolate dipped bananas and apple wedges dipped in chocolate.  Their choices reflected the needs of their guests by offering items that were dairy free and gluten free.  We made signs so guests could choose according to dietary need.   At the end of the night, the desserts were packaged for the family to take home.   The desserts were frozen and served two weeks later at a graduation party.  I’m told “they were just as good” at the graduation and served as a sweet reminder of the day.

One stop shopping was important to this couple’s family.  They were relieved that we could provide the wedding favors too.  The couple chose boxes of truffles for their guests.  Each individual white box was filled with chocolate truffles, peanut butter truffles, hazel nut truffles, sea salt caramels and a chocolate T for Thomas.  The boxes were tied with custom printed ribbons for Eddie and Jenna in robin egg blue, to match the wedding colors.  As I prepared the dessert table, the house staff placed the favors at each place setting for the guests.

The couple was married in a city that was between both home towns.  That meant most of the attendees would be staying overnight at a nearby hotel.  Eddie’s family prepared hospitality bags for all the guests and ordered a package of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and oatmeal raisin cookies for each guest.

No matter how big, or complex, we can make your day special and unique, just like Jenna and Eddie.  We travel out of town to make sweet memories.

Learn about Debbie and Keith
These young professionals were efficient beyond description.  We had one face to face meeting and conducted the rest of our planning by email.   As a young couple, they are on the “wedding circuit” and went to dozens of wedding over the past couple years.   They saw wedding cakes go uneaten because everyone was on the dance floor.  They decided to skip the wedding cake and go for a dessert buffet.  Due to severe allergies, there could be no nuts.  For dessert, Debbie and Keith chose petite cake bites in four flavors, chocolate, pumpkin, carrot cake and red velvet; chocolate chip cookie dough truffles, shortbread cookies with blue and silver sugars (to match the bridal party), snickerdoodles, M & M cookies, pumpkin chocolate cookies, rugalach, chocolate dipped Oreos, and chocolate dipped rice krispy treats with blue drizzle.  The center of the table featured fancy fruit trays of chocolate dipped strawberries, chocolate dipped pineapple, raspberry coins and blackberry coins.  Like I do at all affairs, the untouched food is neatly packaged at the conclusion of the party for the family to take home.  The parents of both the bride and groom were so pleased; they’ve recommended me to all their friends.

No two couples are the same.  Every party has different needs and we can respond to meet those needs.
